WARRANTY & REFUND POLICY

​At Universal Home Appliances, we are committed to providing high-quality refurbished appliances and expert repair services. To ensure transparency, please read our strict warranty and refund terms below.

​1. REFURBISHED PRODUCTS (Sales Policy)

​NO CASH REFUNDS: Once a refurbished product (AC, Washing Machine, Refrigerator, etc.) is delivered and installed, no cash refunds will be provided under any circumstances.

​Repair & Replacement Warranty:

​All refurbished appliances come with a 3-Month Repair Warranty (unless specified otherwise on the bill).

​If the product faces technical issues (e.g., Compressor not working, Motor not spinning) within the warranty period, we will repair it for free or replace the defective part.

​Exchange Policy: If the product cannot be repaired, we will provide a replacement unit of similar value. We do not offer money-back returns.

​What is NOT Covered in Warranty:

​Physical damage, dents, or breakage after delivery.

​Plastic parts, shelves, trays, and outer bodies.

​Damage caused by high voltage/fluctuations (we recommend using a Stabilizer).

​Remote controls and batteries.

​2. REPAIR SERVICES (Service Policy)

​Service Warranty:

​We provide a 30-Day Warranty on all spare parts replaced by us.

​If the same part fails within 30 days, we will replace it free of cost.

​Issues unrelated to the replaced part will be charged separately.

​Visiting Charges:

​A minimum Visiting Charge of ₹399 applies if:

​The technician visits your home but you decide not to proceed with the repair.

​The problem is due to external issues (e.g., faulty power socket, no water supply).

​3. CANCELLATION POLICY

​Before Delivery/Visit: You may cancel your order or service booking free of charge up to 2 hours before the scheduled time.

​On-Site Cancellation: If our team has already dispatched or arrived at your location, visiting/transport charges must be paid.

​4. WARRANTY VOID CONDITIONS

​Your warranty will be immediately VOID (cancelled) if:

​The appliance is opened, repaired, or tampered with by any technician other than Universal Home Appliances.

​The product is shifted to a new location without our supervision.

​The warranty sticker/seal is broken or removed.
